Due to space considerations in the print HNR, mainstream and small press novels may occasionally be covered here as well. Historical Novels Review Online is looking for book reviewers. This quarterly online publication reviews novels not covered by the print HNR, namely: e-published, self-published, and subsidy-published novels, as well as occasional small press publications. 

You should enjoy reading/reviewing historical fiction, be able to write clearly and concisely, and keep to deadlines. 

If you’d like to join the review team, please contact Andrea Connell, managing editor for Historical Novels Review Online.  To be considered, please include a sample review (200-300 words), details on your interest in historical fiction, your writing/reviewing background, and information on preferred formats (print, electronic, or both).
